About

gdh-logo-colour

The Geraldton District Hospital serves approximately 5,700 residents over a 2,767-km2 region in Northern Ontario, including five Indigenous communities and the Greenstone Mine workforce. Our goal is to raise $1 million for the Geraldton District Hospital through the Ride to Greenstone event so the hospital can complete a number of important initiatives, including:

  • Expanding and modernizing its laboratory facilities
  • Replacing outdated x-ray and ultrasound equipment
  • Purchasing a portable ultrasound for the Emergency Department
  • Replacing outdated IV pumps
  • Purchasing an oxygen filling station
  • Expanding its long-term care facilities
  • Adding mental health rooms
  • Updating the hospital's IT and electronic record keeping infrastructure

Your support will ensure the hospital can continue to provide life-saving care to an underserved region. The Geraldton District Hospital is a registered Canadian charity (BN# 107427585RR0001).
